Two Women, Two Voices, 1 Mission.

Brown But BLACK was birthed by Kaydee and Alexis with the shared intention to “Celebrate and acknowledge individualism amongst Black women.”

Within the last two years, Brown but BLACK has intentionally engaged in culturally relevant youth programing.

As the brand continues to grow, it is their mission to establish language, systems, and practices that support the individuation of Black women and girls.

“ In a world where the identity of Black women is rooted in a finite expression, incentivized by racism and patriarchy, we must understand the effects of this reality.

Furthermore, we must reclaim our humanity, by encouraging the expression of our most authentic selves.

We must gather, celebrate, and acknowledge our preordained magic that is our womanhood, doused in Blackness.“
